AI and reflection
AI and Reflection Disclosure
AI can help you learn, compare, organize, and prepare. It does not replace a real Guide.
Effective July 9, 2026
Our belief: people help people
The deepest value comes from people helping people. AI is one tool that can make that work clearer, faster, and better prepared. Velatis is designed to help learners arrive at better questions and to help real Guides research, prepare, organize their practice, and support people with better context. AI does not provide the care, accountability, lived practice, or relationship a person can.
What AI does in Velatis
Invited research features may use AI to explain terminology, compare symbolic patterns, summarize notes, suggest questions, or generate possible interpretations from the context you provide. This material is a starting point for study and preparation, not a verified fact, spiritual authority, or human reading.
What a real Guide adds
A Guide can bring lived practice, judgment, care, continuity, and a genuine relationship to the material. Velatis may help a Guide find relevant context faster or organize the people they already support, but the Guide remains responsible for their interpretation, boundaries, and work with you.
Limits and uncertainty
AI can misunderstand context, invent details, reproduce bias, or express uncertainty as confidence. Symbolic systems also involve tradition, interpretation, and personal meaning rather than scientifically established predictions. Check calculations and source material, compare interpretations, and keep your own judgment in the loop.
Not for high-stakes decisions
Do not use AI or symbolic output as medical, mental-health, legal, financial, safety, relationship-abuse, emergency, or crisis advice. Contact a qualified professional or emergency service when a situation calls for real-world expertise or urgent help.
Privacy and third-party data
Content used for AI assistance may be processed by contracted model providers. Avoid entering secrets or unnecessary sensitive information. Do not submit identifiable data, charts, messages, or personal histories belonging to someone else without their informed permission.
